Three part email campaign, multiple states

Client is new to email communication. Suggested simple tool; Mail Chimp. Created a timeline-style header graphic to visually communicate account status to new members, who might be confused by the complex enrollment process. Provided input on copy to welcome, create urgency to make initial payment, and set a helpful tone.

A postcard was discussed in the early phase of this campaign. But, it was determined that the unsealed format of a postcard would violate HIPPA privacy rules. My research pointed us to a self-mailer, where confidential information could be placed inside and still allowed us to entice the recipient with the intrigue of a postcard weight direct mail piece. Carefully crafted language and branding was chosen for the outside that would seem familiar to the recipient, yet didn't disclose their actual membership status.
